A Creative Journey: From Graphic Design to Watercolour Painting
My creative journey began at the age of 21, when I dove headfirst into the world of graphic design. It all started in the delightful greeting card industry, where I had the pleasure of collaborating with incredibly talented fine art artists who inspired me every day. From there, life took me on a whirlwind adventure, teaching Advanced Graphic Design at a prestigious private college in Oxford, and eventually starting my own design and print company.
Fast forward to today, and I’m proud to be running a thriving web design business in Oxfordshire. It’s been an incredibly fulfilling ride so far, but as one might expect, the creative itch extends far beyond the digital screen. Enter: watercolour painting.
Discovering a Passion for Watercolour Painting During Lockdown
As fate would have it, the lockdown presented an unexpected opportunity to explore my artistic side in a whole new way. One day, while drawing alongside my son, I picked up his watercolour painting pencils and found myself completely captivated by the magic of watercolour. It was a serendipitous moment that ignited a newfound passion, and I haven’t looked back since.
As someone who has always been enthralled by nature and the great outdoors, it’s no surprise that my love for watercolour painting has led me to focus on capturing the beauty of living and natural subjects. From the intricate details of a delicate butterfly wing to the majestic grandeur of an ancient oak tree, my artwork is a celebration of the vibrant world around us.
Introducing Wild Earth Art: A Celebration of Nature's Beauty
In 2020, Wild Earth Art was born as a culmination of my love for nature and newfound passion for watercolour painting. I feel drawn to paint anything living and natural.
Through my artwork, I aim to share the joy and wonder that nature brings to my life, hoping to bring some of that to others too.
As I embark on this exciting new chapter in my creative journey, I can’t help but feel grateful for the incredible experiences and opportunities that have led me to this point. From my early days as a graphic designer to my recent adventures in watercolour painting, each step has been a valuable lesson in the power of creativity, passion, and perseverance.
So, here’s to chasing dreams, embracing the unexpected, and always staying curious. Who knows what incredible discoveries await just around the corner?

Greeting cards
My watercolour greeting cards are beautifully designed to be frame-able – perfect as a keepsake or a thoughtful gift. Printed on premium Tintoretto Gesso uncoated board from the renowned Italian paper mill Fedrigoni, using FSC® certified, felt-marked stock for a luxurious, textured finish. Supplied nested with a ribbed kraft envelope and sealed with a card catcher sticker.

My watercolour prints are printed digitally in vegan inks, on 300gm uncoated textured stock which is Elemental Chlorine, FSC® Mix, Acid & Heavy Metal Free

I can post via UK Royal Mail for £10 postage and packaging for any size order up to A2 All orders for prints are in a hardbacked wrap to protect the print.
Framed prints are only for sale at my local fairs or local venues. Framed orders on the day are all wrapped in protective recycled kraft wrap, finished with white tissue and branded ribbon and sealed with my sticker. Ready for you to gift.

Orders are usually ready for collection within 2-12 working days from payment. Depending if I have the print in srock. Most are printed to order as I have to many designs to store.

Is there something nature based you would like me to paint for you, an watercolour animal for a gift, or something special to you. Or maybe you would like a watercolour painting for your business to be used on a packaging or label design? I can paint you something wild and lovely that fits with your thoughts.
Option 1 - From + £200
If you are not having something personal like a pet portrait and would like to save more pennies, this option could be perfect for you.
I can paint your piece and print you a print. up to A3 size. However I would retain the original and the rights/permission to sell printed prints/printed items of this artwork. This options means I can offer a reduced price of £200 + vat per isolated animal/object watercolour painting.
Option 1 - £400 + vat
I can paint your piece and supply you with the original, however I retain permission to sell printed prints/printed items of this artwork. This options means I can offer a reduced price of £300 + vat per isolated animal/object watercolour painting.
The original painting would be on and A4, I can then also if you would like, scan the painting and produce you, your very own personalised prints for you to use around your home, give to friends or I can make the painting into blank notelets for you to keep in your drawer
Option 2 - From £700 + vat
A bespoke original A4 painting (isolated animals or nature item painted on a white background.
A one-off painted artwork for you and I will not sell any prints. It will be your painting to own outright and do what you wish with.
Each original painting would be on and A4, and would also be supplied as a scanned print ready artwork.
