Rebecca Hyde

My name is Rebecca Hyde, I am a new artist located in the beautiful county of Oxfordshire.

My art is inspired by my deep love of nature, particularly owls, birds and feathers. I’m often wearing feathers in my hair, possibly half bird!

Through my artwork, I strive to capture the beauty of the natural world around us.

I began my journey into watercolour painting in 2020 as a means of healing. Following a difficult recovery from a serious accident that required multiple surgeries on my forearm, wrist, and shoulder, painting became a therapeutic outlet for me. It allowed me to express myself in a time when my arm wasn’t capable of much else. I am incredibly grateful for this creative gift that emerged from such a challenging experience.

At Wild Earth Art, I create nature-inspired paintings, greeting cards, and print-based designs that aim to bring a sense of tranquility and natural beauty into everyday life. My greeting cards are thoughtfully designed to be uniquely frame-able, transforming them into lasting pieces of art that continue to bring joy long after the occasion has passed.

My work is crafted to connect with people on an emotional level, making it a meaningful choice for celebrations like birthdays, welcoming new babies, and other special moments.
